The gang was back again at the Palace Theatre on Sunday July 21 to teach a whole crop of new friends to make monster puppets! They say a picture is worth a thousand words (well, whoever “they” are) so be prepared for a few thousand!
As always, we started promptly at 10 am. Andrew was a bit ahead of the game though because he started his puppet with Ceris a few nights before.
Signe LOVES the fabric selection process!
This cutie was absolutely delightful. She knew exactly what kind of puppet she wanted to make. And I kind of wanted to steal her hat.
These kids were some of the best sewers in the class! No fear, only confidence. Love it.
I’m super jealous of Ceris’ awesome new storage unit on wheels. How great would that be for the travelling craftsperson?! I really want one… anyone want to get one for me?
Food really does bring people together.
And presenting… our new puppet friends!
And we finally remembered to take a group photo this time!
Thanks again to everyone who came out to have fun with us! Thanks as well to the Palace Theatre for hosting us again. Be sure to read about Puppet Making Day 2: Electric Boogaloo and our first puppet making day!
