Edward II opened today at The ARTS Project! So happy!
Edward I is dead. His heir, Edward II has taken the throne and recalled Piers de Gaveston, his banished favourite, from France. Much to the chagrin of his nobles, Edward bestows titles and land upon the low born Gaveston. Forced to banish him again, Edward vows revenge upon his court and his queen. Classes clash, regimes are challenged and hearts rule all as this reluctant King of England is torn between duty and desire.

That’s me on the far left as the Earl of Lancaster!

Yesterday was a preview night and admission was by a non-perishable food item donation to the London Food Bank. Kaitlyn, our director, offered to match this up to 300 items, in order to make a sizable contribution. 65 items were brought in, and with Kaitlyn’s matching, the total donation is 130 items!
Tonight was opening night, and the show went amazingly well!
