Took my co-op students Dan and Rebecca to the BackStage Bash at the Grand Theatre yesterday (Friday June 15) to celebrate their last week of co-op, enjoy some food and do some schmoozing with some theatre people!  While we didn’t “win all the prizes” like we said we would, it was still a fun time!

Started the day off with cupcakes from Rebecca, brought in from Hey Cupcake!  Rebecca personalized each one with our favourite musicals: Hair for Dan and Ellen, Jesus Christ Superstar for Dale, Ragtime/Hunchback of Notre Dame for Jeff (although later he tells us his fav is Light in the Piazza… whatever!) and of course American Idiot for me!  Sinfully delicious.

Rebecca and I thought the glass Diet Coke bottles were pretty cool, although Dan doesn’t seem so sure.

I really liked the orange and yellow balloons, and the sunflower theme for the Grand’s upcoming production of Calendar Girls!
