Back in February, I did some fight choreography for LYTE at the Palace‘s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr., directed by Ruth Noonan. It was great to work with these talented young actors; they had lots of energy and were eager to learn!

This is the big climactic scene where Gaston attacks the Beast in the West Wing. In the film, this scene takes place on the roof of the Beast’s castle, so it was much easier to choreograph on a flat floor! Weapons used were a knife and a mallet.
